The Breast Nurse

Professional Background and Expertise

Hello! My name is K'Lee Kasper and I am a Registered Nurse (BSN, RN) and International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC).

For over a decade I have been providing perinatal care to women in labor and delivery and provider clinics. During my nursing career I have had the honor of being welcomed into the vulnerable, life changing experiences of women becoming moms and growing their families. In these spaces I have learned so many things. One of the greatest concerns that continued to present problems to the women I cared for was the lack of opportunities for women to become educated by reliable, credible sources about the changes of their bodies. As well as feeding and caring for their babies.

That is when my plans for The Breast Nurse services started to develop, I knew I needed to be the nurse that filled this void for women in our Valley. I knew I needed to bring this service to them. In their homes, where they are raising their families and learning to be moms.

I have the knowledge and passion for nurturing women to become active learners in the care they receive. I provide women the skills to make evidence-informed decisions that best fit their families, creating a community where mothers feel supported and confident.

Together, we can navigate the sacred journey of motherhood, passing on essential guidance to future generations!

Empowering Families Through Education

I also offer resources for partners and family members, as I believe that a strong support system is crucial for successful infant feeding. By including loved ones in the educational process, we can foster a collaborative environment that uplifts and encourages mothers.

The Breast Nurse Philosophy and Vision

To provide evidence-informed infant feeding and maternal care education in an accessible and barrier free format. That nurtures women to seek education and knowledge, so that they may pass on the sacred way of guiding other women, fostering a community where mothers feel supported, informed, and empowered to make the best choices for their families.
